Dear Jason,
Your comprehensive knowledge of the Rancho Santa Fe real estate market contributed immensely to my family having a very positive experience when we purchased our home in this beautiful community.
Your knowledge of the relevant comparable sales made it easy for my wife and I to agree on what the realistic price should be to pay for our home. You assisted my family in ways beyond the usual obligations. Not only did you make sure that all of our inspections were done before the contingency period expired, you also were very helpful with your wealth of knowledge of the area schools, as well as giving us a superb feeling about the community. The many friends to whom I have recommended you, also have had equally positive experiences. Most important of all I am proud to say that you have become a good friend. As you know, I enjoyed winning the two golf tournaments at the Del Mar Country Club with you.
I cannot thank you enough for making my family's experience moving to Rancho Santa Fe welcoming and very positive.
Sincerely,
Barry Moores

Kudos to Catherine Barry for ethics,
initiative and professionalism
My wife, Gail, and I feel very fortunate having Catherine Barry of Barry Estates, Inc., representing us in our endeavor to find our next home. Recently, we were within days of closing the sale on an oceanfront property, located in the Bluffs area of Solana Beach, which would have been a very serious $1.5 million mistake.
We had been led to believe that the residence was not in the area affected by cliff slippage. Catherine, on her own initiative, took the extra step to protect our interests by checking into whether any engineering study had been done for the city of Solana Beach.
In addition to providing us with a copy of the study, she also informed us that she had learned from the engineer who had done the study that the homeowner of the subject property had been mailed a letter of notification that the property had experienced slippage as recently as January 2000. Instead of simply focusing on closing the sale to get the commission, she advised us not to buy the property. Gail and I send our thanks to Catherine for her diligence and honesty. We wish to inform your readers, who are residents in the Rancho Santa Fe area or who are considering living here, that Catherine Barry is an exceptionally ethical real estate agent who considered our interests her priority!
